Course Title: Trunk Anatomy Sciences 2

Prerequisite or simultaneous: Trunk Anatomy Sciences 1 (if selected simultaneously, it must proceed the trunk anatomy sciences 1)

Credits: 2 (1.5 theory, 0.5 practical)

Course type: Theory-practical

Objective: Recognition of the macroscopic and microscopic structures, and development of retroperitoneum, pelvis and perineum organs

 

Course outlines:

26 hours theory:

·         Pelvic walls, diaphragm pelvis, pelvic fascia, nerves and vessels of pelvis (2 hours)

·         Rectum, anal canal and surrounding regions (2 hours)

·         Urinary system (2 hours)

·         Histology of the urinary system (2 hours)

·         Embryology of the urinary system (2 hours)

·         Male genitalia anatomy (2 hours)

·         Female genitalia anatomy (2 hours)

·         Perineum (2 hours)

·         Histology of male and female genitalia (7 hours)

·         Embryology of male and female genitalia (3 hours)

17 hours practical:

·         Pelvis and perineum (5 hours)

·         Histology of the urinary system (2 hours)

·         Histology of male and female genitalia (6 hours)

·         Embryology of the genitalia and urinary system (2 hours)

·         Surface anatomy and clichés of pelvic radiography (2 hours)
