Objective: Recognizing the preliminary concepts in statistics and research methodology, introduction to the applications of computer in data analysis. |
Course outlines (17 hours theory):
· Research title
· Necessity of conducting research and expressing the research question
· Research questions and hypotheses
· Methods of conducting research (descriptive, qualitative and empirical) with an emphasis on empirical studies
· Determining the sample size
· Data collection methods
· Descriptive-analytical statistics
· Introduction to data analysis software (Prism and SPSS)
· Data analysis tests (T-test, ANOVA and Mann-Whitney)

Student Evaluation Method:
Student-based principles will be observed during the term to evaluate the performance of students by the assigned projects, as well as oral and written final exams.
