Objective: Recognition of gametogenesis and primary stages of embryonic growth and development, overview of embryonic germ layers

 

Course outlines:

17 hours theory:

v  Mitosis, meiosis and cell cycle (one hour)

v  Gametogenesis and reproductive organs (2 hours)

v  First week of development (2 hours)

v  Second and third week of development (3 hours)

v  Embryonic period (3 hours)

v  Placenta and membranes (2 hours)

v  Fetal period (one hour)

v  Congenital malformation (one hour)

v  Signaling pathways (one hour)

v  Embryology of the skin and breasts (one hour)
