Course Title: Anatomical Models

Prerequisite or simultaneous: Anatomical Sciences (codes 09, 10, 11 and 12)

Credits: 1

Course type: Practical

Objective: Manufacturing of various educational models in anatomy, histology and embryology

 

Course outlines (34 hours practical):

v  Definition of anatomical models and their applications in the education and training of students

v  Identification of the required materials in producing anatomical models

v  Preparing skeleton models

v  Preparing soft-tissue and embryonic models

v  Preparing computer and 3-D anatomical models

v  Preparing graphical and drawing models

Presentation of this course requires meeting at least two of the mentioned practical items, and the other cases will be offered depending on the ability of the educational department.
